Background:
My great grandfather (center of the Kingham Bros picture, right) had one of the first motorcycle shops in the country, initially a bicycle shop, he later sold the first Triumphs and Indians (the later ridden from London to Tring on import). My father raced Vincent's in the 60’s and continued to do so until the 1990’s, this obviously rubbed off on me. I started racing classic bikes at 16 years old, initially on a BSA C15 250cc and then later on my dads Vincent Comet 500cc. 32 years later I'm still racing Vincent motorcycles and am glad to have the assistance of my old man still.
Although we have raced a few different Vincent's, and other classic bikes through the years,The bike we raced at Goodwood this year was not a seasoned campaigner, but is in fact my dads old road bike that we adapted for racing over the last 3 or 4 years.

To be on the podium after our first attempt on the Saturday against the best in the world was a dream come true, and then win the race on the Sunday was just something else!!
Thanks in no small part to the support from Castrol. We are not a well funded organisation, and racing is expensive. To have a generous supply of Castrol R meant that we could change the oil when we wanted to, not as we may have done had it not been available, so many thanks for the support.
